High-quality horizontal floor surface with a fine functional protective layer
PURE PARTS – Protect as the active functional world

PURE FLOOR PROTECT

Protect floors. Simplify cleaning. Extend usability.

An ultra-thin, lightly matt functional protection technology for high-use floor surfaces — developed for abrasion resistance, easier maintenance and controlled application in sports, education, commercial and public environments.

PLATFORM RELATIONSHIP

A specialised floor application of PURE SURFACE PROTECT.

PURE FLOOR PROTECT is the lightly matt floor expression of the PURE SURFACE PROTECT technology. It transfers the ultra-thin protection logic to floor surfaces where abrasion, appearance, feel and use must be considered together.

THE CHALLENGE

High traffic meets sensitive surfaces.

Sports and school floors face heavy mechanical use. Handball resin, rubber abrasion and pigments increase cleaning effort. Frequent aggressive cleaning cycles can also place additional stress on the existing surface. The goal is not simply another coating, but a controlled protection and maintenance layer.

MECHANICAL WEAR

Abrasion, rolling loads and intensive use stress the existing surface.

RESIN & PIGMENTS

Resin, rubber abrasion and pigments increase cleaning effort.

CLEANING CHEMICALS

Frequent cleaning cycles can stress the surface and care condition.

DOWNTIME

Closure periods and deep cleaning affect daily operation.

SURFACE ENGINEERING

A few micrometres. An additional functional layer.

Illustrative technology visual — not a scaled technical drawing.
01

SUBSTRATE

Floor type, existing care, cleaning condition and slip / feel target determine the approach.

02

THIN FUNCTIONAL LAYER

A lightly matt hybrid coating forms a very thin functional surface.

03

EXPOSURE

Abrasion, resin, dirt and cleaning agents are intended to act less strongly on the existing surface.

04

MAINTENANCE

Cleaning and care can thereby be simplified.

TESTING & EVIDENCE

Designed for maintenance. Backed by testing.

Values below are presented as available test basis and must be checked against the tested subject and concrete floor build-up.

CLASS 1DIN EN ISO 11998 / EN 13300

Layer loss: approx. 0.2–0.3 µm after 200 cycles.

SOURCE VERIFICATION REQUIRED: Original report / assignment not fully verified in the data store.

APPLICATION & QA

A reliable floor system starts before coating.

01

OLD CARE

Assess wax, cleaners, silicones, resin and existing care.

02

TEST AREA

Test gloss, matt effect, slip feel and cleaning.

03

APPLICATION

Document layer thickness, tool, climate and drying.

04

ACCEPTANCE

Check appearance, adhesion, slip / feel and cleaning attempt.

05

CARE PLAN

Define cleaner, intervals and recoating.

Process quality determines appearance, function and complaint resilience for Floor Protect.

Slip resistance is application-dependent.

Slip resistance depends on use and floor. It must be separately tested and documented for the specific application area. No R-class is claimed.

Documented service-life context.

Existing product documents mention service periods of up to 24 months depending on use, substrate, cleaning and exposure. This must be validated for each specific application and is not a guarantee.

LIFECYCLE VALUE

Floor maintenance is an operating-cost question.

RESPONSIBLE CLAIMS

What is documented — and what must be checked for the object.

DOCUMENTED / TEST BASIS

  • typical layer thickness 5–8 µm
  • wet-scrub test basis
  • Taber Abraser test basis
  • ecotoxicology / eluate documentation
  • DIBt / AgBB / fire documentation available

OBJECT-SPECIFIC VERIFICATION REQUIRED

  • slip resistance
  • floor compatibility
  • adhesion
  • matt appearance
  • cleaning chemistry
  • actual service life
  • easy-to-clean effect
  • transfer of external test values to the concrete floor build-up

For public buildings, the documentation matters as much as the surface.
